Team

Meet the people who ensure that Sloan Brothers continues to provide the highest quality of product, service and delivery available in the lubrication industry.

Walter R. Sloan

Title: President

Since childhood, my interest has been anything and everything mechanical. I was always building or fixing something — first lawn mowers and go-carts, then cars, boats and tractors.

Matt McCarthy

Title: Outside Sales, Training, Customer Relations Manager

My experience with Sloan Brothers began in 1980 with a summer job digging the foundation of the company’s new shop in Oakmont, PA. When the building was completed, I stayed on part-time for about a year, making sub-assemblies and shipping orders while attending Penn State, New Kensington Campus.

Leslie Testa

Title: Operations Manager

I began working at Sloan Brothers in 1997, bringing a rich history of varied experiences that have proven very useful.

C.J. Sloan

Title: IT Guy, Programmer, Photographer, Inventor, and still the oldest brother

During my educational years at Shadyside Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and then at Bucknell University, I never really thought I would end up working in the family business. My interests were primarily Legos as a kid, then computers and nature photography. From there, I moved on to robotics, PLCs, and industrial design. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Digital Multimedia — a self-designed major that I will be the only graduate in. Ever.

Eric Sloan

Title: Shop Management, Production, Assembly, Scheduling, Cross-Country Sales, Motivational Speaker, Dog Trainer and Spiritual Advisor

My educational experience took me from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Durango, Colorado to the University of Oregon, where I graduated with honors with a B.S. in fine art.  As of yet I have not met another accredited B.S. artist and my skills are in high demand.  For years my focus has been on glass blowing and metal working and my background in those fields has taught me an attention to design and detail that has enabled me to be a valuable asset to the Company.

Brian Sloan

Title: Inside, Outside and Upside-Down Sales

I am the youngest of three brothers here at Sloan Brothers. Isn’t that enough? If any of you are the youngest of three brothers, you know what I’m talking about.

Leslie Sprague

Title: Sales Associate Extraordinaire

I began working at Sloan Brothers in 2000. I heard that there was an opening from Leslie Testa, who is now my boss as well as my aunt.
